Today as i do my weekly routine (walking around Urban Outfitter during my lunch break :P), I found a cool design book called Fashion Market 2. it caught my attention not only because its cute cover, but also because it’s by a Taiwanese girl

this designer Yiying, wrote two design books on London fashion markets, and created her own line– Noodoll. The line is pretty cute. the main character, Noodoll, is a male porn star in noodle town… yes u didn’t hear me wrong… porn star XD (see all other noodle town characters here: http://www.noodoll.com/index2.html).

I am always super excited to see Taiwanese artists/designers getting international exposure (I suppose having a book on Urban Outfitter’s shelves is one of the best ways to gain recognition among young ppl, no? ^_^) good job! I really hope more & more Taiwanese designers can prove their talents to the rest and have a space in the design world go go go~~~
